Reply:We never did. It was all about the bunny, the eggs and the candy. We didn%26#039;t even go to church. We stayed in PJ%26#039;s until it was time to find eggs.
Reply:Oh God yes! I was just looking at some old pic%26#039;s the other day of me and my older sis, in our Easter dresses. I think it was 1957. Made me laugh and cry!
Reply:Oh yes. . .my mom always made me wear the frilly dress and such for Easter. Honestly, I hated it. I was (and still am) such a tom boy that I couldn%26#039;t stand to be in a dress. Still, at least I had the satisfaction of getting grass stains all over those paten leather shoes. ;-)
Reply:Yes for special occasions and church events. We had the frilliest, laciest socks my mom could find and those shiny, square toed patent leather shoes. We had ribbons in our hair and white gloves with the lace around the wrist. I felt like a freakin birthday cupcake!
Reply:A nice outfit including shoes yes no gloves or purses
Reply:ugh yes, my mother would pick out the most god awful dresses for me, minus the gloves (we%26#039;re in texas, it%26#039;s in the 80%26#039;s by easter time). she%26#039;d always find the most flowery lacy ugly dresses she could find, then insist on taking pictures of me and my sisters in them.
Reply:DON%26#039;T REMIND ME!
Reply:same here
Reply:My grandma gave me a white rabbit fur coat and hat with a darling little monogrammed cardigan and a plaid skirt.

I hated her for that.
Reply:yes mine did too no my shoess were always too tight i was silly if i like d a shoe i insisied my mombuy it even if it was to small i would say it fit good silly girl i was so silly
Reply:Good grief, yes!

Silly poofy dresses, with silly poofy hats, and black patent mary janes, cutsey little pocketbooks, and the white gloves AND a new stuffed bunny I carried around like a good little dweeb!

(Did not do this with my daughter. I dressed her beautifully, without the silly details)
Reply:My mom would get us a new Easter Dress every year. I bought my girls easter dresses this year to wear when we go see her on Sunday.
Reply:No we never got a new dress, there were 5 girls and we had spring clothes but mostly they were hand me downs. We each had a pretty dress and shoes for our first communion%26#039;s. I had a headband and my sister got veils. If I have a daughter you know for sure she%26#039;ll be a pampered princess for sure!!
Reply:Yes, my mom did
Reply:yes
Reply:And I was, mean little boy...Who ran away with your Easter hat

down the hallway at Church.......
Reply:my mom made me wear a really ugly blue dress on easter and then we went to a coffoe shop and a lady dropped hott coffoe on me after that and a serious burn i never had to wear those silly dresses again! %26lt;evil laugh%26gt; muahhahahamauahahaha
Reply:yes and i like to carry on tradition with my girls its so fun
Reply:My mom tried but it wasn%26#039;t something I enjoyed.
Reply:*lol* No... but I liked to wear dresses when it was an special day like a birthday or going to the church on Sundays...
Reply:She tried...
Reply:yes, and I loved it.....good times...good times....thanks for the memories...
Reply:yea my mom did and i%26#039;m a guy
Reply:Yes, My mum embarrassed me when she dressed me up in that dress.
Reply:yes! and then when we got home from church i always had like 3 different outfits i had to change into; mostly girly shorts and girly tops..and i would worry about getting dirty. those were the good times. now i only have boys and the pickin%26#039;s are slim where they are concerned. memories!
Reply:nope
Reply:hehe... my parents used to dress me like a princess all the time when I was little, and I had many princess-like dresses, a lot of them pink and lots of them frilly. I don%26#039;t think it was such a bad memory. Now my choice of colour has become violet rather than pink.
Reply:I remember the frilly outfits and hat and freezing my butt off because it was usually snowing and bitter cold.
Reply:My dress was purple. It was awesome...
Reply:Yes, and I have the pictures to prove it! When I was one-year-old, my birthday was on Easter, and I was really dolled up in a red velvet dress, with paten leather shoes, whilte gloves, and a big hat.
